Description

[Singapore Philatelic Museum is closed for revamp from 18 March 2019 to end 2020. ]

Tucked in the centre of Singapore’s Civic District lies a quaint, century-old building that houses and promotes memories of almost 200 years of Singapore’s past – The Singapore Philatelic Museum.

We opened our doors in 1995, promising something interesting for everyone, especially families and children. With four permanent galleries and four changing thematic exhibitions, we provide a year-round treat for the senses. Exhibitions are great opportunities for parent-child bonding as the displays are interactive with lots of quizzes and games thrown in.

Being a philatelic museum, we innovatively employ over 12,000 stamps and other items connected with the postal system, to tell, in a highly-interactive and visually-captivating manner, stories that reflect the vibrant cosmopolitan society that is Singapore.

Our museum is located at the junction of Coleman Street and Armenian Street. It is easily accessible by public transport.
